Matthew creates unique pieces inspired by the stone he has sourced from around the world.  Among his collection are a black limestone obilisk, a series of granite mortar and pestles, and a detailed tree trunk carved from Persian travertine. 

His series of mortar and pestles carved from beautifully marbled Muskoka granite became so popular that Matthew carved more than a dozen pieces from the stone blocks.
